The outer casing ring of dial head is made of black polystyrene plastic for the entrie line of Century Series 7-inch mechanical hanging dial scales and is not chrome plated metal. The indicator pointer is made of red polystyrene plastic and net metal. |

- Certificate of Conformance No. 86-030A, Model 027/A was issued under the National Type Evaluation Program of the National Conference on Weights and Measurements that the design conforms to NIST Handbook 44 Class III. The scale is "legal for trade" subject to on-sit verification by local Weights and Measurements jurisdictions.
- Scale comes equipped with one dial only (reads clockwise). If a second dial (counter-clockwise) is desired on the back of the scale. - Scale heads (without loading attachments - Models 0720T & 0724T) are supplied with 1-1/2 lb. start (standard start for CAS, CE, and CG).
